Why Secular Humanism is wrong in the clash of religions

September 18, 2017

First, here are the two basic things that define a religion. A religion defines morality and gives an explanation of existence.

The current state of Secular Humanism (which Webster’s Dictionary defines as a religion) defines morality as “political correctness” (e.g. abortion, gay marriage, pornography and human influenced climate change) and defines existence via evolution and the science fiction myths of the ages of the Universe and Earth.

Christianity on the other hand defines morality as Biblical holiness and defines existence as the Bible explains it, with God, no macro evolution, and a young Universe and Earth.

So then, which one of them is correct, or is neither of them correct? And what about the various other religious explanations on Earth? Are they fully correct or partially correct or not correct at all?

Well it needs to be acknowledged that Plato’s Law of Non-Contradiction points out that there can be ONLY ONE truth. That is, something can’t be true and not true at the same time. Either there is a God or there isn’t. Either there is an optimum morality or there isn’t. Either there is a young Universe and Earth or they’ve existed for billions and millions of years respectively.

Is there any proof as to what the “only one truth” is in these focuses? Dennis Marcellino utilizes science, logic, experience and statistics to give this proof in his book, THE PROOF that God exists and the Bible is True.

Within the “only one truth” it needs to be acknowledged that any explanation of a perfect morality would need to be in harmony with the actual, observable optimum functioning of the human being. Murdering babies isn’t. Homosexuality isn’t. Pornography isn’t. And human caused climate change is invalidated by the fact that climate swings are observed on Mars where there are no humans, and have also happened on Earth in the past, when the technology being blamed for climate change didn’t exist.

Actually, the main point amidst the disagreements on climate change is: it can be seen as immoral that there is such a large focus on the nebulous climate change here on Earth, which has little impact (as wild predictions continually go unfulfilled), while the very immoral baby killing, high divorce rate, high addiction rate, high STD rate, ISIS murders and pornography go virtually uncontested and yet have a HUGE impact (as verified by the decline in social statistics and the worsening experiences in the mainstream entertainment industries). And the psychological problems of homosexuality and transgenderism go unaddressed as such (even though homosexuality used to be listed as the #1 Sexual Deviation and Psychosexual Disorder by the APA – American Psychiatric Association – prior to 1973. [There are many references stated about this in The Plague Of Liberalism, pp. 108-113, as well as the story of intimidation and deceit, not science, as to why it was removed as being pathological.]).

Also, the Secular Humanist “dating game” of the Universe and Earth is invalidated scientifically in Dennis’s book. In fact, in his DVD and book titled, How a LITERAL Reading of Genesis 1 is Proven by Modern Science and Hebrew Scholars, he shows how modern secular science discoveries (including Nobel Prize winners in Physics) are validating the Bible’s explanation of a young Universe and young Earth. The book and DVD can be seen at

A conclusion here is that the defined religion of Secular Humanism is in violation of the “establishment clause” of the 1st Amendment in that it dominates the religious landscape and legally suppresses other religions (e.g. in public schools, insurance and government. This last one is a new trend as evidenced by what’s written on our currency – “In God We Trust”.).

Dennis’s purpose is to show that the culture is very out of harmony with nature in many ways and many people are suffering as a result … whereas the Bible is provably the perfect standard for truth and solving the problems in the culture and individual lives. EVERYONE’s Ultimate Predicament

October 13, 2009

A big problem is that many people are so caught up in their lives and feelings that they don’t recognize their ultimate predicament.

Or maybe they don’t want to look at it because they aren’t sure what the truth about it is.

People usually don’t reflect on the fact that they are here by the grace of God, and are allowed to stay here also by His grace … while He continues every second to beat our heart and breath our lungs (in addition to all of the other automatic body functions that we aren’t directly involved in).

But most people’s attention isn’t usually on Him. It’s on the distractions of the world. They give little or no importance or attention to God, not recognizing that they are a part of HIS creation and plan, whether they want to be or not.

But because their attention is not on God and is on other things, the day of their death might prove to be disastrous. Luke 21:34 “Beware that your hearts do not become drowsy” (i.e. spiritually asleep, dulled) “from indulgence and drunkenness and the cares of daily life, and that day catch you by surprise like a trap.”

Therefore, a big part of my work is about PROVING what THE Truth is … so that people can know how to have assurance and understanding about what the truth about reality is and what their predicament is (which is: they are in a human body temporarily and their eternal fate and quality of experience now is determined by how they’ve chosen to respond to God and their life now).

My work is also to PROVE what God’s plan is, so that people can UNDERSTAND their ultimate predicament and then know how to give a good response, which is: submit their free will to being not an autonomous individual, but being a part of God’s plan. And that “good response” includes helping to promote His plan and ways.

Those proofs and understanding can be found at and

Revelations 3: 14//17 “The source of God’s creation, says this: “I know your works; I know that you are neither cold nor hot. So, because you are lukewarm, I will spit you out of my mouth. For you say, ‘I have no need of anything,’ and yet do not realize that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.”

Romans 12:11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.”

The question to ask yourself is: are you so caught up in a pursuit of pleasure or in the mundane things of life that you are not seeing the bigger picture or responding to it? People die every second without having ever properly connected with God (on His terms) and then have to suffer the consequences for taking that approach. This is why Jesus said that the gate to Heaven is narrow and few will find it, but instead many will travel through the gate to destruction.

So regarding how you choose to respond, Clint Eastwood’s statement might apply: “Do you feel lucky?”

(Sorry that this email had such a dire warning, but people need to hear that message too, because it is reality. I mean, if the Bible isn’t true in ALL that it says, how can we have assurance that it’s true in anything that it says … including Heaven, prayer, etc.? That’s why I’ve written books to prove that it’s all true.)

Have You Ever Wondered WHY You Are Alive?

December 20, 2008

(See below for science proof #1)

Have you ever seriously reflected on this existence…
that you just find yourself in…
that you had no choice on whether to be here or not…
on this relatively tiny ball…
that sits on nothing and moves through space…
in a universe so large that no one can fathom the end of it…
that you won’t be able to stop your departure from?

The fact that we can barely get off of this planet says that there is something other than humans behind this existence.
But who or what is that?
And did it/they have something in “mind” when causing earth and humans to exist?

Personally I find nothing more fascinating than what I just brought up because
this is not fiction … it is real.

And frankly I, like most, want to know how to make the best of this existence while I’m alive in it.

But I’ve also been very curious as to what this is all about…
this existence of being in a human body and having to deal with drives and feelings and other human beings (individually and collectively) …
and if there are any ties to the rest of the universe or personal meaning behind it.

Amidst a very successful career in music, these were the two biggest focuses of my life … which I pursued very vigorously, going in and out of 21 approaches to truth, personal growth and lifestyle.

Now, after 40 years with the desire to know why we are here and what the best way to approach life is while we are here, I’ve come upon those answers. And they aren’t just a matter of opinion … I use science, experience, objective observation and irrefutable logic to prove what the truths are behind those most basic questions about life.

Of course this is so important that I want to share it with whomever wants to know these answers. So towards that end I wrote a book titled: Why Are We Here?

<><>Science proof #1 (paraphrased from my book)

<><>The error that the most vocal of modern science “theories” make ( … and it’s good to remember that they are just theories, which is a word that often goes unnoticed in their presentation … ) is that they try to explain everything through “physical” science. They accept a Big Bang Theory (which says that the physical universe emerged out of a tiny, very dense piece of matter) and then try to give a physical reason as to where the material and impetus for the Big Bang came from. The current prevailing theory is that it all came out of a Black Hole (which is said to be a “tiny, very dense piece of matter” whose gravitational pull is so strong that even light can’t escape it). But even with that theory they are still left with the basic dilemmas as to the origin of the universe: where did the Black Hole, which also is envisioned as being physical, come from? And what is behind the specific design that it has? And what caused it, and why was it caused?

The way these dilemmas are often dealt with is: “We can trace the origin of the universe back to a micro-second right after the Big Bang happened. But we don’t know what happened in that micro-second.” (The important additional question would be: “What went on before that microsecond?” which I’ll give a scientific explanation for in this chapter.)

So, a problem with modern science is that it limits itself to seeking an answer just through physical science. But obviously an answer isn’t emerging from that mindset. That is because the answer isn’t within the physical realm. The scientific inquiry must expand to “all possibilities” in order to reveal the answer as to where the universe came from.

So first I’m going to show why, in a search for that answer, looking for a physical explanation to the origin of the physical universe should be eliminated. I will do that by showing how any physical explanation has a major problem because it clashes with some proven scientific laws of physics. And it’s those laws of physics that will give us our first big clue that will lead to showing that God exists.

So let’s start with the laws of physics.

The First Law of Thermodynamics (also known as the Law of Conservation of Mass and Energy) says that, “Energy can neither be created nor destroyed”. That is, within a “closed system” no new energy can be added in. (And the universe as a whole can be considered to be a closed system because energy has never been observed to enter it or leave it, only to be transformed within it.)

Now, we live in a physical universe that has constant motion going on in it … from the largest stars down to the atomic level. And just like it takes gas to run a car and food to run our bodies and electricity to run much of what’s in our home (which a black out will quickly tell you), it takes energy to keep up all the visible and invisible motion in the universe.

Now the Second Law Of Thermodynamics tells us that once the energy has been used up, it is no longer available to be used as energy. Logic tells us if there is only a finite supply of that energy in a closed system (there is no cosmic equivalent of a gas station), at some point it will all be used up.

What important thing does that tell us? It tells us that the physical universe can’t have a past that stretches back to infinity. Because no matter how slow the rate of energy use, over the stretch of infinity, it all would have been used up by now (because no new energy is being added in). Therefore the physical universe had to have a beginning. On this point, theology and most modern scientists agree (e.g. the Big Bang theory). Where they part is in describing the nature of that beginning and what came before it.

To me though, the solution to that is simple. If the physical universe couldn’t have been created by something physical (as the First Law of Thermodynamics states), then the conclusion is obvious: the physical universe had to be started by something non-physical. Therefore, any scientific inquiry into the origin of the universe must only look for a non-physical answer and abandon all attempts to determine the origin using physical explanations. Because even if they came up with a physical explanation, they will still be left with the dilemma of what caused that physical cause (being that all physicality has to have been caused … as is stated by the First Law of Thermodynamics, which says that physicality can’t cause itself). (You might be asking yourself at this point, “Well if there is a non-physical causer, what caused it?” I’ll deal with that question in the “Logic” chapter, but a simple answer for now is: “spiritual nature” and “physical nature” are two different kinds of realities with a different set of properties and laws governing them.)

To summarize, the laws of physics tell us that the universe had to have a beginning because if the universe was always here, all the energy would be used up by now.
