Why Secular Humanism is wrong in the clash of religions

September 18, 2017

First, here are the two basic things that define a religion. A religion defines morality and gives an explanation of existence.

The current state of Secular Humanism (which Webster’s Dictionary defines as a religion) defines morality as “political correctness” (e.g. abortion, gay marriage, pornography and human influenced climate change) and defines existence via evolution and the science fiction myths of the ages of the Universe and Earth.

Christianity on the other hand defines morality as Biblical holiness and defines existence as the Bible explains it, with God, no macro evolution, and a young Universe and Earth.

So then, which one of them is correct, or is neither of them correct? And what about the various other religious explanations on Earth? Are they fully correct or partially correct or not correct at all?

Well it needs to be acknowledged that Plato’s Law of Non-Contradiction points out that there can be ONLY ONE truth. That is, something can’t be true and not true at the same time. Either there is a God or there isn’t. Either there is an optimum morality or there isn’t. Either there is a young Universe and Earth or they’ve existed for billions and millions of years respectively.

Is there any proof as to what the “only one truth” is in these focuses? Dennis Marcellino utilizes science, logic, experience and statistics to give this proof in his book, THE PROOF that God exists and the Bible is True. www.ConclusiveProofOfGod.com.

Within the “only one truth” it needs to be acknowledged that any explanation of a perfect morality would need to be in harmony with the actual, observable optimum functioning of the human being. Murdering babies isn’t. Homosexuality isn’t. Pornography isn’t. And human caused climate change is invalidated by the fact that climate swings are observed on Mars where there are no humans, and have also happened on Earth in the past, when the technology being blamed for climate change didn’t exist.

Actually, the main point amidst the disagreements on climate change is: it can be seen as immoral that there is such a large focus on the nebulous climate change here on Earth, which has little impact (as wild predictions continually go unfulfilled), while the very immoral baby killing, high divorce rate, high addiction rate, high STD rate, ISIS murders and pornography go virtually uncontested and yet have a HUGE impact (as verified by the decline in social statistics and the worsening experiences in the mainstream entertainment industries). And the psychological problems of homosexuality and transgenderism go unaddressed as such (even though homosexuality used to be listed as the #1 Sexual Deviation and Psychosexual Disorder by the APA – American Psychiatric Association – prior to 1973. [There are many references stated about this in The Plague Of Liberalism, pp. 108-113, www.ThePlagueOfLiberalism.com as well as the story of intimidation and deceit, not science, as to why it was removed as being pathological.]).

Also, the Secular Humanist “dating game” of the Universe and Earth is invalidated scientifically in Dennis’s book. In fact, in his DVD and book titled, How a LITERAL Reading of Genesis 1 is Proven by Modern Science and Hebrew Scholars, he shows how modern secular science discoveries (including Nobel Prize winners in Physics) are validating the Bible’s explanation of a young Universe and young Earth. The book and DVD can be seen at www.LighthouseBooksAndMusic.com.

A conclusion here is that the defined religion of Secular Humanism is in violation of the “establishment clause” of the 1st Amendment in that it dominates the religious landscape and legally suppresses other religions (e.g. in public schools, insurance and government. This last one is a new trend as evidenced by what’s written on our currency – “In God We Trust”.).

Byline
Dennis’s purpose is to show that the culture is very out of harmony with nature in many ways and many people are suffering as a result … whereas the Bible is provably the perfect standard for truth and solving the problems in the culture and individual lives. Why Pat Robertson was wrong

February 8, 2014

Following the recent Ken Ham (Young Earth Creationist) vs. Bill Nye (atheist) debate, Pat Robertson said this:

“There ain’t no way that’s possible,” he continued. “To say that it all came about in 6,000 years is just nonsense and I think it’s time we come off of that stuff and say this isn’t possible.”

“Let’s be real, let’s not make a joke of ourselves.”

“We’ve got to be realistic,” he concluded, and admit “that the dating of Bishop Ussher just doesn’t comport with anything that is found in science and you can’t just totally deny the geological formations that are out there.”

Pat Robertson is not a scientist and therefore should not be making science conclusions. His statements were unfortunately wrong. In fact he is making the same error that Eve made in believing the serpent by him “believing” in the conclusions of modern scientists. Were he to dig deeper he would see how unreliable dating methods are and how many modern scientists jump at whichever dates back their atheist or agnostic positions. In fact, objective science totally backs the young Universe and young Earth positions. It is as Louis Pasteur, often called the father of science, said, “A little bit of science averts us from God. A lot of it takes us back to him.

Because of my background in science and engineering, I too once accepted that evolution and the rest of the modern science theories were correct. I mean, how can the majority of scientists and professors be wrong? But when I delved into the details, I found out that they were. (And I chronicle all of this in my book THE PROOF that God exists and the Bible is True.)

So then how does Pat Robertson’s conclusion parallel Eve and the serpent?

Genesis 3:1, “Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

Eve then confirms that, yes, God really did say. But then the serpent went on to confidently give an alternative argument:

“You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

And Eve believed him. That is why Christendom is “a house divided.” There are many wrong interpretations of the Bible that are being confidently delivered by trusted spiritual leaders.

But the Bible says that we are to “be of one mind”. And Jesus even prayed that our “unity be complete.” These things unfortunately are not the case in Christendom today. And this situation is perpetuated by trusted leaders who disagree. Not that Pat Robertson has always been perfectly Biblical, but this was a very damaging blow.

This is why Christians (and all people for that matter) should put some time into studying what the truth is and why the Bible is infallible, as opposed to just believing (and then parroting) what they pick up in the (dysfunctional) culture or in schools. I make that study easy with my book, where I back this all up with science (put simply), logic, experience, pragmatism and statistics.

Also, to back up the fact that the Universe is 6000 years old (which I do using modern science like no one else has done), here is what an Oxford Hebrew professor said:

The following is an extract from a letter written in 1984 by Professor James Barr, who was at the time Regius Professor of Hebrew at the University of Oxford. Professor Barr said, “So far as I know, there is no professor of Hebrew or Old Testament at any world-class university who does not believe that the writer of Gen. 1-11 intended to convey the idea that creation took place in a series of six days which were the same as the days of 24 hours we now experience. The apologetic arguments which suppose the ‘days’ of creation to be long eras of time, the figures of years not to be chronological, and the flood to be a merely local Mesopotamian flood, are not taken seriously by any such professors, as far as I know.”

And the fact that after the Universe was created in 6 24-hour days, the Earth is only 6,000 years old is confirmed by geology, chemistry and astronomy. I prove in my book that the dating methods used by old Universe and old Earth scientists are very faulty and unreliable. I also show proof of early past dates for dinosaurs, quick formations of canyons (e.g. Mt. St. Helens), etc.

Pat Robertson was “fooled” in that he jumped to a conclusion that relied on putting “faith” into “believing” modern atheist scientists. But the fact is, if a person invests some time into studying this issue, they will see that there are a LOT of credible scientists who affirm a young Earth through factual scientific studies.
